A WORD FROM OUR CHAIRMAN

Since its establishment, Yayasan Munarah has remained committed to supporting the underprivileged and marginalised by channelling aid into key areas such as poverty alleviation, education, healthcare, and support for individuals with special needs. Over the years, we have steadily expanded our impact through various programmes and initiatives, primarily focused in Negeri Sembilan, where the foundation is based. This report provides an overview of our journey thus far.

Thanks to our close ties with the local community, government agencies, and fellow non-governmental organisations (NGOs), we are often in a fortunate position to respond swiftly in times of crisis — as demonstrated during our flood relief efforts. At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, we redirected our focus towards healthcare, extending vital support to hospitals and frontliners to help mitigate the impact. These unprecedented challenges served as a powerful reminder that we all have a role to play in ensuring no one is left behind.

I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to all our collaborators, volunteers, and donors for their unwavering support, which continues to enable us to serve the community more effectively. Looking ahead, we aim to extend our reach and maximise our impact by working alongside a diverse range of stakeholders to create lasting, positive change in society. Since October 2021, 100% of the foundation’s day-to-day operational costs have been fully borne by the Royal Family of Negeri Sembilan. As a result, all donations received go directly towards the causes we support.
